If you reset the counter without replacing the physical waste ink pads, the ink will eventually leak out of the bottom of the printer. External Tank:
Once the reset is successful, you will be prompted to turn your printer off and back on. Upon restarting, the "Service Required" lights should be gone, and your printer will be fully functional again. It is a good practice to eventually check the physical waste ink pads or install an external waste ink tank to ensure that excess ink doesn't eventually leak out of the bottom of the machine now that the digital safeguard has been cleared.
