The story follows Tom (Andreas Pietschmann), a German oceanographer, and his wife Julia (Émilie Dequenne) as they celebrate their son Ben’s 13th birthday on a yacht in the Caribbean. Their vacation turns into a nightmare when a violent storm strikes, triggered by a catastrophic global polarity reversal.
