This acquisition is the root of the confusion. When a user searches for a "Stonesoft download," they are looking for software that, officially, no longer exists under that name. It has been rebranded, folded into larger suites, and deprecated. The "Stonesoft VPN Client" is now technically the McAfee VPN Client or part of the Forcepoint/Trellix ecosystem.
