ODIS is the software platform used by VAG dealerships and authorized workshops to communicate with vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs). Unlike older diagnostic tools that simply read and clear fault codes, ODIS is an integrated system that connects the vehicle to the central VAG database in real-time (via SDD – Software Data Delivery).
