The group discovers that their town is plagued by a supernatural entity that takes the form of a clown, known as Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård). The creature is an ancient being that awakens every 27 years to feed on the town's children. The Losers Club decides to face their fears and battle Pennywise to save their town.
