The movie follows the story of Vijayakumar (played by Vijay), a middle-class man who works as a sales executive. He lives with his wife, Srimithi (played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), and their two daughters, Anju (played by Nivetha Pethuraj) and Aaditi. The family seems to be living a peaceful life until their daughter Anju gets involved in a crime, which puts the entire family in danger.
